When trying to learn and understand mathematics, once the fundamentals of a topic have been grasped, one of the most effective ways to cement and further your understanding is through exam style questions. This forces you to take what you have just learnt and apply it in different situations, revealing any faults in your knowledge of the topic. Thus, a typical session usually involves ensuring you have understood a topic through explanations and examples from me, and then cementing this understanding by going through exam questions, focusing on how to approach them correctly and in an efficient manor. This combination will allow you to form a strong understanding of the topics and also develop the ability to adapt to more challenging exam questions that require this knowledge in a more obscure way.
